Survivor, student, guide

Kevin Coca is the founder of BodyMindHeal.me, a health and wellness coach, a yoga and breathwork practitioner, and a lifelong student of somatics. He is certified in Levels 1 and 2 of emotional root-cause work under Paul Leendertse of the Root Cause Institute.

His path into this work began with six years of severe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, years when doctors had nothing to offer but "learn to live with it." His recovery didn't come from a prescription. It came from retraining his brain and nervous system, releasing what his body had been holding onto, and a spiritual awakening that changed how he sees everything.

For six years he owned and operated an iboga clinic in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, guiding people through addiction interruption and helping others heal from PTSD. That work deepened his understanding of plant medicine and of what it takes to hold a safe space for real transformation. Today he continues specialized iboga work through Iboga-Reset.me, while BodyMindHeal.me brings together everything that helped him heal and everything he has learned since. He works from Tucson, Arizona and Puerto Peñasco, Mexico.

"By helping people heal, you help their whole family heal. The recovery is actually ancestral — people don't pass the pain program and sickness program on to their children and partners."

— Kevin Coca

Words to carry with you

"The knowledge that a condition can be driven by the brain, or neurological loops, or stored emotions, is profound and liberating. Once one encounters that knowledge and takes it to heart, the nervous system immediately starts to relax. You can finally start to hold out hope for a way out."

— Kevin Coca

"Some things cannot be healed in certain circumstances, and one has to be very honest with oneself about what those circumstances are and what needs to be done. That might mean changing a job, letting go of a relationship, or literally changing the way you interact with your world."

— Kevin Coca

"If you treat things like a game, or a curiosity, you can really push against what your brain is doing."

— Kevin Coca

"On the other side of your illness is a place where you are actually thankful that you went through it — you are essentially forged in the fire."

— Kevin Coca

"Do the daily work and prioritize yourself. You are the most important project that you will ever work on. Don't create stress, create calm. Come back to yourself."

— Kevin Coca
